Pelimanni Days
In the summer of 2007, the Pelimanni Days will be held July 6th-8th. Theme: Vyborg, Before and Now. The festival offers music for all ages. Friday night is reserved for chidren and youths, with performances by Antti Tuisku and Ylikuormitus. Music for adults tastes is served up on Saturday at the "Romanov's Table" concert. In the evening there'll be dancing at the Myllylampi open-air dance floor to the beat of Reijo Taipale, Juha Mäkinen and Taifu. On Sunday there will be a special Pelimanni mass at the Miehikkälä church, followed by chidren's and traditional Finnish music at the Pelimanni Tent. The afternoon will feature a concert starring Erkki Liikanen, Annikki Tähti , Mija Lavonen and Jussi Kiski's Studio Orchestra.
