Karhula Flight Club and Air Museum
Gliders to Jet Fighters
The Karhula Air Museum, founded in 1945, is the only one of its kind in the area. The museum is unique in that we try to keep many of our planes in flight condition or even perfect condition, so history comes alive. The Club has ties to the air force, as it maintains Messerschmitt Bf 109s that were used during the war by the 34th Fighter Squadron to bolster air defences in Kotka.
