Elimäki Church
The village is proud of the oldest wooden cruciform church in Finland, located in the centre of Elimäki. The Church was built in 1638, in a rectangular form. It was extended to a cruciform in 1678 and the bell-tower was built in the end of the 18th century. The appearance of the church improved again in 1994, when the residents worked voluntary to build a new roof. The Church serves the travellers in 2010 as a road church.
