Ankkapurha Industrial Museum
The core of the Industrial Museum is a cardboard machine which was restored into its original place as an authentic unit in 1997. The cardboard machine was the first of its kind in Finland. It was originally started in 1897 and stopped in 1978, which makes it the longest continually running cardboard machine in Finland. The basic exhibition shows the early stages of Ankkapurha, the working and living conditions of the personnel and the development of the industry over a period of more than a hundred years.
