Driving instructions to Sulkukoski
When driving in the direction of Kouvola-Lappeenranta (road 6), turn left from Kannuskoski crossroad. Drive past the Kannuskoski shop  across the dam towards Tirva (Kyykoski authorised fishing area starts from the dam) and drive about 6.6 km. Turn left to Kyykoskentie road. Drive to the  Sulkukoski parking area at the end of the road.

Fishing area        
The fishing area starts from Ruokokoski (also upstream from the dam) and continues about 7 km. To the Taikinakoski rapid. There is a local notice board in Sulkukoski area, campfire site, shelter and toilets.. A natural boat sloping area is suitable for launching boats. Its a wilderness area with numerous rocky rapids and deep stretches. Water is coloured with humus. Angling is possible in the still water pools and in the fishing areas between the lakes , but not in the streamy areas. Boat fishing is permitted. There are a lapland style shelter, campfire site (Kota) and a bridge over the water in Kyykoski. Taikinakoskihas a cooking shelter and a bridge. Canoe and boat pier in Niskakoski.

Best fishing time and methods
Spring and early summer, autumn. Small wobblers and spinners are suitable in the shallow areas. Small pupae and larvae are well suited. Streamers (fish reproduction)are good for evening and night fishing.
