Driving instruction to Kuusankoski boat ramp
From Kouvola towards Kuusankoski on road 6. Continue along Kuusaantie road and cross over Kymijoki river to the centre. Turn right from the second roundabout to Valtakatu road. Valtakatu continues as Ekholmintie road. Drive approx. 900 m and turn right to Lauttakatu road. Drive to the end of the road.

Downstream from Pessankoski (natural slope, from Kuusaanniementie road to sand road bridge towards upstream)

Fishing area
The fishing area starts from the Voikka dam and covers about 15 km downstream up to the dam of Keltti power plant. There are a few prohibited areas, so pls check with your licence dealer. The river is broad stretch and deep in some places. The rapids are mostly streamy. Angling is permitted only at non-current areas. The shores are at places wooded and
at others industrialised.
