Driving instructions        
Take highway 7 (Helsinki-Vaalimaa), exit highway from Kotka, Korkeakosi sign. Follow signs for Langinkoski to the end of Keisarinmajantie road. The Langinkoski shore is in 100 m from the parking area.

Fishing areas
Langinkoski rapid flows into the sea. It is the lowest branch of Langinkoskihaara and is administrated by the Management company Wild North (Villi Pohjola) under Metsähallitus.(Finnish Administration of Forest Industry). The rapid is shallow and rocky all the way (about 400 m) except the neck area. The rapid has a width of 30-120 m. Fishing area is meant for maximum 8 fly fishers. Ask separately if you want to rent the whole rapid.

Sea Salmon 50 cm, Sea Trout 50 cm, Rainbow trout,  Whitefish, (Pike-perch 40 cm,Grayling 40 cm)

Spawn protection time: 1.10 to 15.11
All Salmon and Sea trouts must be released during 16.11-31.5
Angling with natural baits is prohibited
Licence buyers of 18-64 years of age must have a valid state fishing license.
Only traditional fly-fishing is permitted.

Prohibited areas
Fishing is prohibited in the side branches.

Best fishing time and methods
Salmon: from the beginning of July
Sea trout: beginning of April to June + the rest of the season
Rainbow trout from the beginning of May
Only traditional fly-fishing, usually with two-handed
salmon fly rods.
