Driving instructions
Highway 7 (Helsinki-Vaalimaa), under the bridge at Pyhtää and Loviisa border, about 35 km from Kotka centre towards Helsinki

Fishing areas        
Ahvenkoski: about 150 m of constructed embankment and deep streamy area. Rowing area begins from down the embankment area. NOTE! Not suitable for small children.

Prices 2011
adults    10 € /day, 30 € /week, 80 € /year
Free of charge for under 18 years old minors with a guardian.

Catch species and minimun size
Sea Salmon 60 cm, Sea Trout 50 cm, Rainbow trout, Whitefish,  Pike-perch 40 cm

Main rules        
Fishing prohibited from 11.9 to15.11. Only Whitefish fishing is permitted at the westbank during 1.10 to 1.12. Using hooks to trap a fish intentionally on the outside of the mouth is forbidden. Check for specific rules from authorised licence dealers as well as at: www.ahvenkoski.fi

Salmon: from the beginning of July
Sea trout: beginning of April to June + the rest of the season
Whitefish : in autumn
Tube fly with weight (Spinfluga)
Lures, wobblers
