Driving instruction
When driving in the direction of Kotka-Heinola (road 15),turn right a few kms past Kouvola
(Valkeala/Mikkeli road 15). Right after Valkeala ABC-station turn towards Valkeala  centre.
From Valkeala centre turn left (Jokela) to Vanhatie road and then to the right to Uimarantatie road.
Drive to the boat ramp at the end of the road (Uimarantatie 79).

Fishing area
The whole fishing area is formed out of several lakes (Lappalanjärvi, Haukkajärvi, Rapojärvi, Karhulanjärvi, Tarhajärvi etc) Check for the exact authorised areas from authorised licence dealers. Lappalanjärvi is the largest, most open lake with perhaps  largest number of fish.

Lure fishing licence
For 18-64 yers old: Finnish state fishing licence fee (always if using spin fishing rod or fly fishing), in addition: provincial lure fishing licence OR local licence from the library.
