Driving instruction
When driving in the direction of Kotka-Heinola (road 15), turn to Jaala Kirkonkylä and
then in 1.5 km turn left to Kallioistenniementie road. Continue towards the Kallioistentie
until you see the boat harbour and boat ramp.

Lintukymi ramp on road 60 (Kotka-Heinola) next to the bridge (Palojärvenkuja)  
South-east end of the Pyhäjärvi lake.

Fishing area        
The Lake surface area is approx. 4000 hectares. The licence area covers the whole lake from Hiidensaarensalmi to the river mouth. Water is much darker (but clean) than other northern lakes. The lake is shallow and partly rocky. Pike-perch is mainly caught by trolling.

Lure fishing licence
For 18-64 yers old: Finnish state fishing licence fee (always if using spin fishing rod or fly fishing), in addition: lure fishing licence OR lake fishing is possible with a provincial approval (1 rod = 1 lure)
Angling and ice fishing are free of charge.
