Kotka, Santalahti camping area

Driving instructioins
Take highway 7 (Helsinki-Vaalimaa). Exit highway at the sign of Mussalo. Follow to Mussalo and then  Santalahti signs up to the Santalahti camping area. Drive to the end of the road where is turns to gravel road and stop. Walk by natural trails or along the sand road towards the shore (few hundred metres).

Fishing areas
The beach is quite rocky, but also sandy places could be found. All in all about 1 km of area. Also suitable for hiking.
Perhaps spinning is the best choice in here, but also angling is possible.
Area is good for starting ice fishing trips in winter.

Angling: no licence needed
spinning: For 18-64 yers old: Finnish state fishing licence fee and either Landbo or Provincial lure fishing licence

Salmon 60 cm, Sea Trout 50 cm, Pike-perch 40 cm

Mussalo Hirssaari. SantaLahti also has a boat ramp, but it can be locked.
