The Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, Kouvola is a multifaceted, high-class but homey, that pink hotel set in the middle of Kouvola. The hotel has 172 rooms, of which six are superior rooms, 12 are rooms with a sauna, and one large and three junior suites renovated in the spring of 2007. We offer smoke-free rooms, rooms with bathtubs, family and handicapped rooms, as well as so-called showrooms suitable, for example, for small product displays and meetings. All rooms have a WC, shower, TV, pay-TV, phone, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Each room has its own air conditioning controls. All our room rates include a plentiful buffet breakfast and a residents' sauna. The entire hotel is covered by the Sonera Homeru service area, which provides wireless Internet access. For guests who want to work in their rooms, we offer free hard-wired high-speed Internet connectivity for laptops.
