Cottages at Verla
Spend days of your summer holiday relaxing in the idyllic World Heritage setting of Verla. In summer 2011, the old mill workers’ cottages will accommodate 70 overnight visitors. All cottages are within walking distance of the mill museum. The weekly rental charge includes two free entries to the mill museum. You have a choice of staying either in a genuine late 19th century worker’s living quarters or, in more retro style, at one of the holiday cottages the company would have provided to its workers. For those looking for a truly peaceful environment, there are also cosy log cabins surrounded by pine trees. This takes you back to the gorgeous summers of a 1970s childhood!
